Summary: The apartment was wonderful. It was just as advertised, buckets of charm, not too small for my teenagers and myself, happily decorated and spotlessly cleaned. The rain shower was really a pleasure, and the place had a washer/dryer that was a bonus (as we stayed a week, but still have a week of holiday travel to go). It’s about as close to a zone 2 tube station as anyone could ask for, 2 minutes walk with the Raven pub midway (pictured), and it’s in a good area of London with Ravenscourt Park at the opposite end of the road. Chiswick High Street is a 5 minute walk with shops and restaurants. Nick was an excellent host, and checked in on us by email but was otherwise unobtrusive. As a Brit I especially appreciated the pint of milk and teabags on arrival. We’d love to have stayed longer, and I’d love to stay there again in future Summers.
