The leisure park also has a fantastic café with balcony overlooking the beautiful River Nidd, again independently run. You also have instant access to Knaresborough with its fantastic market on a Wednesday. Knaresborough is also Famous for Mother Shipton’s Cave and Petrifying Well and boasts an interesting castle, painted by JMW Turner, perched high on the cliff top. Stroll along the riverside promenade, relax with an ice cream or hire a boat and spend an afternoon around the river.
