Regular ferry trips to Mull, Iona, Kerrera and Lismore leave from the harbour, and nearby Sea-Safari trips offer a chance to glimpse dolphins, whales and eagles, as well as the famous Corryvreckan Whirlpool. Nearby outdoor activities include fishing, golf and a variety of water sports, and there are numerous forest trails for cycling and walking. Fort William, Glencoe and Inveraray are within easy reach.
