The house fits perfectly in the mountainous landscape. Each apartment is at its own level and has a separate entrance. Depending on availability, your car takes place in the carport. Lonau is a small idyllic air spa town in the middle of the Harz National Park. Surrounded by numerous hiking trails and beautiful forests, the place is a small paradise for nature lovers. From Lonau can reach at least four hiking destinations, which are included in the system of stamp points of the Harzer-Wandelpin: De Köte at the Schindelkopf, the Hanskuehnenburg, the Waidmannsruhe mountain hut and the Große tubers. One of the most popular destinations is also the Lonau waterfall, a narrow rock gorge where the water falls through ten meters through a total of ten meters. In Herzberg you should definitely visit the Guelph Castle, it is the largest in Lower Saxony. Thanks to well-landed roads you can also quickly find many other sights in the National Park by car and you can combine every excursion with a walk or hike, depending on your mood.
