Summary: We stayed at this property for two nights and overall had a decent experience, but there are several important considerations for future guests.Additional Fees (Not Clearly Disclosed):The most significant issue was the unexpected extra charges. In addition to the rental cost, we were required to pay:42/day for parking, 40/day resort fee. & a 50 registration fee. These fees totaled nearly 200 and were only disclosed 48–72 hours before check-in, leaving us with no choice but to pay. This lack of transparency was frustrating and would be even more so for a longer stay. If you're budgeting for your trip, be sure to factor these in. The apartment itself is spacious and nicely decorated, though some of the furniture is worn and could use updating—which is somewhat expected in a beach condo. The location is excellent: less than a 5-minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. The pool area is lovely, and the resort grounds are clean and well-maintained.While the unit had been cleaned, we encountered several issues:A dirty pack-and-play was left in the condo.It appeared a dog had stayed before us—there were nose prints on the glass and urine stains on the master bedroom mattress. Although the sheets were changed, the mattress pad was not, and the bed had a strong odor. A metal piece under the counter fell off. Maintenance entered the unit to work on the dishwasher with only 10 minutes’ notice. The washer/dryer combo was not functioning.
