If you want to feel the charm of laid back and traditional Florida life then stay at our Englewood Cottage. The entire house is yours to enjoy, right in the heart of the old Englewood Village. Our home is just 3 blocks from the intercoastal waterway with a boat ramp & great fishing. The beautiful Englewood beach is just across the intercoastal which is a 5 minute drive. Few blocks away is the lively Dearborn St. Within walking distance is shopping, restaurants, bars, etc.
The house has 2 separate bedrooms with queen beds in each, plus we have a pull out sofa bed in the living room. There are two full bathrooms, one with shower and other with bathtub. Roughly 900 sqf of living space. We do provide some essentials like soap and toilet paper. If you ever need anything else, within reason, then please ask and we will do our best to provide it.
Our home is an older house from the 50's with typical Florida decor. If you are looking to experience a traditional Florida bungalow then come on down!
Historic Englewood Village has lots of restaurants to choose from plus there is a CVS Pharmacy, Wells Fargo and Chase Bank, Walgreens and Publix within walking distance or about a 1 minute drive. There is also an award winning ice cream place just a short walk from the house. The water of the intercoastal is 2 blocks away. You can walk to the nearby Indian Mound park where you can BBQ or launch your boat. That is also where you can do some great fishing right from the shore or pier or you can watch the dolphins and manatees. If you have a boat you can easily launch here and explore even more of the bays and islands.
